1979 VW Bug From Germany


This car was restored by Ralf Milewski in Berlin, Germany

Engine is a Type 4 engine (ex Porsche 914) 2L (1940 cc), 911 Fan, Ahnendorp exhaust, full head job with big valves, 316 degree Schleicher cam, polished and matched rods, light weight pistons (Mahle), bigger Oil Pump and front oil cooler. Engine management is with an SDS EM3-4F driving VW G60 injectors. 40mm throttle bodies are fitted with a Bosch fuel pressure regulator set to 3 Bar.

V/Max is 205 km/h (long Gearbox). Weight is 980 kg. Converted to Porsche 944 S2 Turbo brakes and chassis running on 205/55R16 and 245/45R16 mounted on polished cup wheels. Car is finished in Porsche "Maritim Blue".
