DIY Chip Upgrades

You can get many of the latest software capabilities on your older EM-1 through EM-4 ECUs by ordering the latest upgrade software. This involves changing out the microprocessor inside the ECU. We supply an extraction tool to remove the old chip and you just follow the enclosed instructions to snap in the new chip. Before removing the old chip, you should record your present set of values as these will be not be available once the new chip is installed. These will be transferred to your new chip with your programmer.

Before we can supply you with the correct chip, we need the following information:
System number and type ie. EM3-4F etc.
MAP sensor used
Temp sensors used
